The Accordion Festival got its start in the 1990s*.  It was brought to Bakersfield in 2004 for that year’s NABO convention.  It’s back again this year!  It will be hosted at the Kern County Basque Club in Bakersfield, CA on Friday, May 23, 2014 – with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres starting at 6:00 p.m. The entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m.

* The first Basque Accordion Festival was hosted in February 1994 at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center.
